BILLS ALUMNI SUPPORTS BUFFALO GOLDEN GLOVES BOXING

One of the greatest amateur events in all sports took take place in Buffalo, this past weekend, the Carubba Collision Buffalo Golden Gloves. On hand and showing their support for the event were members of the Buffalo Bills Alumni Chapter.

At the official news conference, held at the Erie Community College Burt Flickinger Athletic Center in downtown Buffalo, Bills Alumni Booker Edgerson along with Charley Ferguson, Adam Lingner, and Lou Piccone were there to support these Western New York amateur boxers.

“For years now the Buffalo Bills Alumni has supported amateur sports in our area” stated Alumni President Booker Edgerson. “These boxers are participating in one of the most prestigious amateur boxing tournaments in the country, the Carubba Collision Buffalo Golden Gloves and we applaud their hard work in their efforts to become a Golden Gloves Champion” added Edgerson.

Bills Alumni were also present for the night of exciting boxing and signed autographs for the fight fans. Just prior to the fights, Edgerson along with officers from the US Army spoke to all the boxers encouraging them and wishing them well.
